Evaluating Sources (late)

http://www.timecube.com/

This is the personal website of Eugene Ray ("cubic and wisest human"), who aggressively asserts... something. On the most superficial level, this site is probably not credible because it looks like somebody's Geocities page from 1996. The author's casual use of profanity, misspellings, and disregard for grammatical convention cast some doubt on the reliability of his information. Also, he's a crazy person--like, to the point where I don't even know how you'd make enough sense of what he says to cite it as a source.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/

This is the official website for BBC News. The site's format is professional and well-organized, with correct grammar and spelling. The source of their information (BBC journalists from their international bureau, almost always writing on-location) is credible and accurate. Also, because their focus is on international news--as opposed to major US news outlets, which place more emphasis on domestic stories--their international coverage is more roundly investigated and thoroughly reported.
