In this article analysis written by Ryan Witt, he analysis the Presidents State of the Union address. This Speech has been analyzed by pretty much every person and their dog in some way that is involved with politics, and it seems that Ryan recognizes that, and just wants to give a analysis that is not to terribly bias. He also states that "the true analysis" will be given by the general public in the coming months. So I take it that he is hoping to help the general public know what was said a little more.
In his analysis he states five different points he wanted to address. I feel that some of them didn't really add much of anything more to the text/speech, but haha that may have been more of a personal issue. I do like how he did not only state the positive but also some of the negative in his analysis. Also something that he added to the text was that he added how some of the audience reacted to what was said, which I think that if you had not watched it you would find it very insightful and I would probably want to watch a video of it.
